1.Improved Cook Stoves — Barwani District.
WINGS distributed over 4,000+ cookstoves in Barwani district, benefiting more than 32,000+ villagers, particularly women, by smoke exposure, improving efficiency, lower fuel cost, and reducing indoor pollution.

Gujarat Project
Improved cook-stoves- Ankleshwar
In collaboration with Sun Pharma CSR, WINGS distributed 2,715 improved cookstoves, helping 13,575 rural residents. Women and families experienced significant reductions in indoor air pollution and daily fuel use, contributing to better health and environmental conservation.

Uttar Pradesh Project
Improved Cook Stove Distribution – Gorakhpur District

As part of the national ICS rollout, WINGS distributed 1,200+ energy-efficient cookstoves to rural households, directly benefiting over 1,200 women. This intervention cut smoke exposure by 50%, reduced time spent gathering firewood and supported women’s health and livelihoods.

Smokeless Cookstove Distribution- Birhu Village
In 2023, WINGS deployed 557 smokeless cookstoves across tribal households, with field visits and user interviews confirming efficiency and user satisfaction. 557 rural residents— primarily women— received help from lower indoor smoke, reduced fuel costs, and improved respiratory health..
