Mrs Ami Baxi, a prominent union leader at J.L. Morrison in the late 1960s, was a staunch advocate of socialist values, dedicating her life to the fight for workers’ rights and dignity. Grounded in the belief that collective ownership and control of the means of production lead to a fairer and more democratic society, she championed policies that prioritized human needs over profit.
